Deebo at 7 million is great deal. He will want to prove that he can still play in hopes of getting one last contract for at least $30 million for 2/3 years. Like most athletes he likely has wasted his money on expensive cars, houses, private jets, partying, bling, etc. He's probably near broke at this point.

He will do what the team asks of him and has no interest in being the focal point as he knows deep down any injury that would come from high usage will end his career. If he doesn't succeed here in Shanahan's system (which made him who he is), no team will offer him more than 1-2 million in guarantees next year.

Most importantly he needs to go back to Number 19 f**k number 1

Deebo has already posted the 19 jersey on social media. That's about as strong of an indication he is going to be 19 as you can get

I'm good with Deebo being back. He brings that 2019-2022 punch them in the mouth attitude back on offense. He had 72 catches and 700 yards last year?? I'll take that production all day for $7 mil. Jennings had 55 catches for 600 and wanted like triple the money.
