Nick Mullens' Bears test is even more daunting than Jimmy Garoppolo's Jaguars test:
— David Lombardi (@LombardiHimself) December 19, 2018
2017 JAX: #1 pass def, #27 run def
2018 CHI: #1 pass def, #1 run def
Advanced numbers grade both pass defenses nearly identically. Both tests will be exactly a year apart (Week 16).

Fangio will have a great scheme for this game. Good luck BDN.

INTs this season:

Bears: 26
49ers: 2
Hypothesis: This is significant. More research needed.

Lots of games matter. The biggest would be the Giants over the Colts since the Jets played the colts and SF played the Giants so in a sense its a flip game. Ill throw out the meaningful games in the next tweet https://t.co/9vyqoLEU9T

For the Jets these are the results you want this week

NYG over IND

Jax over Mia
Cin over Cle
Was over Ten

I'm a little nervous about facing the Dark Lord this week. I remember when he was our DC, the players always commented on how well prepared they were, and that Fangio was almost never wrong, or supprised on game day...

Tanking is over mayo as soon as they lost the #1 overall pick. Now I don't care where the 9ers are in the draft the main thing is that Lynch knows he needs a pass rusher.

extend mullens with a $150m contract
In all seriousness, if Mullens beats the Bears he just may warrant a 2nd round pick. But if I was Shanahan I would hold onto Mullens as long as I could until a team is really desperate.
If Mullens beats the Bears he should have a real opportunity to compete for the starting position.

Yeah, it's going to be a thrashing curb-stomp.

If BDN is physically standing upright at the whistle, I will be very impressed!

Nah Jimmy G. is the unquestioned starter.
You have to be real damn good to take Jimmy Garoppolo's job.

One does not simply take Jimmy Garoppolo's job.
