The very 1st series against Arizona when we scored a TD never completing a pass more then 3 yards thrown in the air. Beathard is a backup QB and I don't care how much of the play book he knows, he's still just a backup QB NOT a NFL caliber starter. If Shanahan is half the play caller we anoint him as, he needs to put CJ in easier plays and have him dink and dumping. Throwing all over the field is silly
People seem to forget that the reason CJ needed to become Joe Montana Jr. is because Breida went down. We were fine when Breida was in the game gashing players. Then there was no Quise as well. When teams know you're down to your 3rd string back, they stack the box. And when they stack the box you have to throw the ball.

Let's not put it all on CJ. He couldn't be a game manager. There was nothing to manage but a burning dumpster of a roster.
We gonna get CREAMED.

Bet GB and lay the points
If we don't turn the ball over, we walk away with a shocking win. 50-50 if we only turn it over once.

The Niners have lost three games that can all be traced to turnovers in scoring position that led to a point swing the other direction. Take away one turnover in scoring position from each game, and the team is 4-1. It's sickening to think about, but we've squandered golden opportunities to win games that we otherwise played well enough to win, as strange as that sounds to say.

I watched the last green bay game against the lions: I wasn't as impressed as usual by Rodgers and co.
I think the game will be closer than most think.
The game that makes me anxious is the one against LA: they're balling on both side of the ball and It will be painful to watch for sure...
I'm already looking at draft board and it's October...

They lost to the Cardinals at home, it will not be close

I imagine it'll look a lil something like this (they're the bullies / we're the bum)

Who you calling bum?

LOL we'll be that poor guy lying on the ground
beathard is gonna shock the world this monday.
I think it's going to be the MorrHstert show on offense. Shanahan probably won't want to have CJ throw 60 again.

Looks like Rodgers has had a set back on his knee. He's been limited at practice and looks like he's going to go with a bigger knee brace.

He'll have a set back Monday night. He'll set back in the pocket and slice the 49ers defense like a hot knife through butter.

Final...GB 35 - SF 10
Anyone else hear the conference call reporters had with McCarthy Thursday morning? Oh boy, this is how it ended (let me preface this by saying I've noticed Eric Branch has been moving into Grant Cohn-type journalism territory for a little while now): so Branch who I think fancies himself a real funny sports writing guy asks MM "Do you find you're a more intelligent coach when Aaron Rodgers is healthy?" But you could tell it came out completely not how he meant it by the uncomfortable, awkward silence that followed. This is a podcast I'm listening to and the silent awkwardness with the other reporters was tangible through my phone speaker. A few seconds pass and Branch tries to rephrase it "I mean, are you a more intelligent coach with Rodgers healthy. At least from public perception?" Which still wasn't much better so too late. The moment had already passed with his foot firmly placed in mouth. McCarthy said something about he doesn't pay any attention to public perception then told reporters on the call to have a good day and hung up. Suffice it to say that was a pretty d-bag move by Branch. I'm sure he thought he was just trying to cleverly pose a question about what a lot of Packer fans have voiced for a while now that McCarthy is only a good coach because he has Aaron Rodgers. But when you're a media member representing the opponent that doesn't really go over too well.
