When you have a bunch of 3rd and 4th stringers in there, these issues get exacerbated. Bolden.just came off suspension. How many practice snaps do you think he's had? It sucks but when you have so many injury issues, that is who you wind up.

To be a backup. He looks like that guy. With a full team, he would look like a competent backup. If CJ were the kind of QB to elevate the play of his team given the situation, he'd be a starter somewhere.

Beathard is a backup QB. He was drafted to be a backup QB that can step in and hold on until the starter was ready to play again if/when that guy got hurt. Cannot blame CJ for his poor play in games because he shouldn't be looked at as anything special or a good starting QB. He's a backup and that's what we need obviously.
