I believe the record is 72 points in a game by one team, Chiefs will probably break it next week.

You got anyone better? Ward sucks at CB in this scheme he just doesn't look the same. Then again all that time off didn't do him any favors. And I'm not sure Tavarius Moore is ready to start, I actually wanna see him start at FS and move Colbert to SS if Tartt can't go.

17-13 49ers in a defensive show down. Foster back and with Warner and foster I expect hunt and kelce to be a non factor. Sherman will shutdown either hill or Watkins. I believe spoon will play a lot better this week as well. Cortes will get 2 more sacks this week. Goodwin should be back this week as well So jimmy be much more comfortable. Jimmy has looked off all hear cause he hasn't had his go to reciever all year. And little will redeem himself for all the drops

Great, I have Garapollo and Mahomes in my fantasy...lol. This is the first in 7 years that I play anyone facing the Niners!

Mahomes wasn't facing any pressure. Not saying we will pressure him but we need to.

Fat Andy runs the traditional WCO in my opinion, and good fast linebackers always give the WCO a problem. I'm betting you are right, with Fred and Rebuen at LB and hopefully more of a pass rush in this game, we can make it close and hopefully pull a win out at the last minute.

Can Uncle Sherm somehow play both sides of the field? Couldn't do much worse. Should just rush 2 and everyone else in coverage. Have spoon stand in front of his guy pre-snap then 2 more cb's take over at 10 yards when Spoon is beaten!Then Spoon can just run around in circles spooning by himself. problem solved. Mahomes will only pass for 330 yards that way!!!

lol.. even with foster. we are not holding them to 13 points . good lord. with them at home with that crowd. they will put up 35 points on us, now if we add gordon this week. we may have a chance but for now . i bet 35 -21

Even if Gordon comes in, Kyle will hold him out since he doesn't know the playbook. Theres also his hamstring problems

good point, i think the hammy is more the issue. with him. you just run him out there and have him catch the ball. the real issue after yesterday is the defense. lack of pass rush. poor tackling. bad secondary. the theme seems to be we will lose to good teams like the vikings cuz those things cost us and against less teams like detroit we will have to outscore and hope for the best. the chiefs have some holes in defense but we have more and they are worse. we were a poor tackling team last year and it continues. you will never take the next step with this stuff. or maybe tackling is over rated

Tackling is overrated according to the NFL and their increasing restrictions on the way a defender is allowed to make the tackle shows it.

I rank this game against the Chiefs with the game we played in Philly in 2011. Justin Smith recovered a fumble and sealed the victory. That game started the Harbaugh roll for the next 3 years. That game showed the NFL we were up and coming. Granted that defense was elite but this D can grow and establish itself.

Wouldn't surprise me if KC put up 50+ on us the way we played yesterday.

Mahomes has been playing lights out and I'd love to be the team that brings him crashing down to earth but I don't see us keeping up with the speed they have on offense. Not with our passrush.

Plus it's opening game for their home crowd. After the two wins they just had you better believe they'll be deafening.

9ers Gonna be 2 and 1 after next week.
