This...the fact that they were within one score vs the Vikings in minn, I mean they got work to do, it will improve as the season goes and these kids get more seasoned.

A couple dropped balls and a stupid fumble on the one yard line away from getting a W IMO.

But we will overreact because that's what fans do.

Bourne should earn a ticket to the inactive list, he ain't do s**t all preseason and hurt the team today. James has earned a shot and only reason Bourne got play over him is he's in his 2nd year living off plays he made LAST year

Hey bring him in...if you watched him last yr you will see a lot of dropped balls, think we already got that covered.

Maybe he could help in the RZ don't see him bringing much else to the table besides that

It sucks but I agree with you. Im sure Jimmy lost a lot of faith in him today.

Unless Goodwin is out for the year which he's most likely not, I don't see a need for Bryant especially with his price tag. Is Bryant gonna come in and take a incentive deal like Sherman....most likely not. So no, no thank you Dez.

He lost his faith in the OL, the receivers, and the tight ends. Pretty much everyone except Goodwin, who he has an established rapport with.

if we are still this terrible in the RZ after about 4-5 weeks, I would not mind bringing him in on situational downs. But at that point, who really cares I guess. Season is probably over, so you might as well keep the money for a top tier FA.

He'll still most likely command a #1 cb, Pierre and Marquise on #2/3 cb would be ideal matchups imo.

Oline sucks but I don't think it's an overreaction...we knew depth was a problem last season and haven't done much in an entire offseason to fix it.

They are some better execution away from being a contender. Don't know that will take 2 years.

Buckner, Juice, Sherman and Staley are the only Niners who would start for the Vikings. Considering the roster disadvantage and thefact that the game was in Minnesota, I think it was a positive first step.

I'm pretty much convinced at this point letting hyde go was the biggest mistake of the offseason.

They didn't respect the run game at all and pinned their ears back all game rushing the passer. Every aspect of the team was better this game other than the running game and redzone offense.

I'm convinced now that mckinnon isn't the answer either as he's not any faster than breida who was getting owned all game and is only a better pass catcher.

Other than those things the defense is way better than last year and so is the oline and receivers.
