Person and Magnuson can both backup at T (as well as G & C). Makes them both valuable. Person knows and has played well in this exact scheme. And, he was drafted by the Niners as a T. Magnusson filled in some at T last year and started all season in 2016 at T at Michigan (was 1st Team All Big 10).

Good point. Seems like Lauderdale is possibly better suited on the left side from the sound of things so he's not going up against big ends at RT.

So you have Garnett starting at RG? I hope he can come back and win that battle, to be honest. I still have hopes for him as a former 1st Rd. pick (also, I played special attention to him since he came out of Stanford).

He would've gotten the run game going last week. RG was the weak spot in all three run plays. I think it's a toss up between him and Cooper. I hope Garnett wins it but I'm not really sure.

I think if he's worth keeping, the practice squad is safe to put him in. I think Kyle's offense is pretty unique. Maybe one or two other teams use the kind of zone blocking he does, but not many others, so Lauderdale's strength weakness at the point of attack will turn off a lot of teams from going after him.

Seriously doubt he'll make the 53. He'll be there on the practice squad.

Top 1 or 2 make it.

Play is an inside zone (Short step left, no pulls, no reach blocks, handoff is leading the back between the tackles). Possible zone split where the TE kicks out the end and the RB treats it like a counter. Williams loses his block and prevents the back from following the TE.
1) Laudie (61 LT) wins his block sealing the edge out of the middle. The A gap is there if Garnett does a better job attacking the playside shoulder and the back hits the hole quicker.
2) The gap closes but the back picks up a few thanks to Laudie continuing to work.
