Cris Carter the Hater

Hey Cris, Jerry was better than you. Are you still bitter about that? Lol WHO CARES what anybody says?!? I know my team is good. That's good enough for now. We've sucked pretty consistently since 98. I don't how many games we will win and I don't know if we will win a SB but I don't know that we won't either.

As long as Jimmy stays healthy everything will be good. I'm not saying he's going to be Joe or Steve but Jimmy might be pretty good himself and he looks closer to those two than anybody else we've had. This version of our franchise hasn't done anything yet and they are already starting to pick up haters. Good sign.

By the way who says you can't talk about getting to and winning a SB? I really hope every team is talking about that and if Cris didn't perhaps that's some small insight into why he doesn't ever wear his SB ring. Lol

I have no issue with players openly saying they want to win the super bowl

I don't see any arrogance from this team. I don't believe for a minute they think they're locks for the SB. They're just well aware of why they're here, what the ultimate goal is and have a very positive attitude toward going about realising it. Personally, I think this is exactly the atmosphere John and Kyle have been trying to cultivate.

Niners aren't sneaking up on anyone this year regardless of what they say. Harbs didn't take over a team that finished the year before as the hottest team in football. Jimmy G and the niners aren't a secret.

Cris Carter is a loud mouth clown. I never really like this guy but he does have a point. All of this Superbowl talk makes me uncomfortable. It puts unnecessary expectations on the team. This team is young and inexperienced, I would suggest the old cliche of one game at a time.

It's honestly embarrassing to hear football guys talk like idiots at the local bar who don't know a thing or two about football outside of watching a game here and there and listening to ESPN.

Cris Carter can't name 10 starters on an NFL roster? I can name 10 starters on every NFL team without looking it up and I don't get paid to talk about the NFL for a living.
Eric Mangina wants to compare Matt Flynn to Jimmy Garoppolo and point out how he went 5-0 before going to Seattle and doing nothing? Flynn has a CAREER record of 3-4. Do the math on that one. Jimmy actually played with this team, with this coaching staff and the 49ers saw what he could do with limited knowledge of the offense and less than stellar cast around him. The Flynn comparison is idiotic to the nth degree.
