Two good points. One supporting how Jet can produce more than Hyde (better talent), and the other point about how Jet may not do better than Hyde. There could be up to 4 new players along the OL (3 if Tomlinson keeps his starting job). Agreed, cohesion is critical on outside zone. There were times last season where two OLmen would be combo blocking a DLman then both OLmen release up to the second level leaving the DLman being combo blocked, unblocked.

LOL is this poll for real? I would be extremely happy with 1500 all purpose yards. Extremely lol.

IMO its not even a sure thing he will lead the team in rushing. He has two hungry youngsters breathing down his neck for carries, and Joe was hand picked by Shanny, he is going to be given every opportunity to carry the football. Breida is a dog that will not go down on the depth chart quietly.

Like i have said before, i wouldn't get overly crazy with these yardage predictions. This guy has been a career backup on a roster where he had every opportunity to be the guy on numerous occasions. Have you seen his YPC the last few seasons?

I really hope some of you are right, but i really feel your setting yourself up for disappointments. There is a high chance that even Williams or Breida are more capable runners.

The contract does not automatically dictate that this guy is going to become a top 5 RB, just because we paid him as one lol.

This is like the Dante Pettis thread. Guys are freaking out because we didn't get a 6'4, 225 pound receiver but size has very little to do with production.

Some of you dudes need to chill out.

I think Jerick's production is going to be very similar to that of Devonta. 800-1,200 yards rushing and 400-500 yards receiving. As for the point about receiver size. I think that fixation can be traced to T.O. This fan base has wanted a big receiver with some speed since he left. I know those guys don't grow on trees, but I think that is the genesis of it.
