If the guy says he's ready, suit him up! He knows his body better than anyone else, if the ankle gets sore, he has an entire offseason to rehab. I don't get it, but I'm old enough to remember when Ronnie Lott had his finger cut off to keep playing.

yeah, idk why we are worried about years down the road. I'm worried about now and if he's medically cleared - we should allow him to play.
I love Fred and would love for him to be a stud for us for years, but if him playing helps us win the SB - then that's better than him never playing again, IMO. I'd rather the vets get their ring and their moment, than worry about 3-4 years from now.
With that said, I don't think it's a big risk to let him play if he's cleared.

We need him in the NFC Championship and Super Bowl. Should we keep winning. Activate him. The time is NOW!

I think honestly even the SB would be. Longshot for him to play. I don't think he's as close as everyone thinks

I'm shocked. I would be surprised if anyone thought he was actually capable of doing stuff like this. It always seemed as if coming back was a long shot despite everything he said, and even the update last week confirmed he was "running" on a side field.
Is doing football s**t like this indicative of an expedited recovery timeline? Any medical experts know whether it's normal to do those drills just 3 months post-injury.

Different injuries but look at what TO did to play in the Super Bowl when he was with the Eagles.
