Armstead. He's the guy that is the biggest non-fit for the scheme the 49ers run. He's long and strong, drafted to two gap. Not enough explosiveness to penetrate gaps which is what Saleh wants. He isn't an Elephant, isn't a nose tackle, won't unseat DeFo/SDay at 3t. So that makes him a strongside DE where Thomas should make his home. So he's a backup Big End. Sounds like a roster spot that can be found elsewhere. Ward has positional flexibility. Garnett deserves some patience from us to see what he's got after his body transformation.

I endorse this.

I see AA's best fit as a base down LEO. He can hold the fort down against the run - if the light bulb ever goes on....
Then, as a rotational player to spell ST and DeFo on passing downs inside. So, to me, his best case scenario is a major let-down for the #17 overall pick in the draft....

Another Baalke swing and a miss

Armstead's best fit in this scheme would be Buckner's backup.

Ward at 8.5 mil and no definite position and injury concerns make him very questionable.

Garnett's fat ass slimmed down nicely and might get a real opportunity to prove himself as a starter, he isn't going anywhere.

I say try and trade Armstead, and Ward take a pay cut.

Nailed it my dude. Couldn't agree more

Best ability is availability....Bye to Ward and AA
