If we only re-sign one? (Hyde vs Reid)

Why only sign 1 if they want both ? Over 100 million allows you to resign or sign who you want assuming the player wants to be a niner..

Reid, this secondary really started to come together when he got his starting SS spot back, he brings versatility and depth and shouldn't be that expensive to resign with the kneeling still an issue with NFL Owners.

Hyde is a bad fit for this offense and he's easier to replace in F/A and the draft.

Reid is better, but Hyde is more of a need.

Reid is a great player, but we already have 3 quality, starting caliber S under contract. If we resign Reid, itll be because they dont want to keep Tartt longterm. I think Colbert is the obvious longterm plan at FS, and Ward can play CB.
Reid... rb's come a dime a dozen especially mediocre ones

With the way the league is going I'd rather have the extra guy's who can play SS/FS. Move Ward back to Corner and roll with Reid/Tartt/Colbert as our 3 headed FS/SS/Big Dime monster.
In the contract year Hyde stays healthy the whole year, coincidence? I don't know, Reid also hits IR regularly, so it's a tough call. I would say Hyde, with Reid's political stance being the tie breaker.
No reason not to re-sign them both (particularly if there's a soft market for them), but the answer is obviously Reid due to the inherent fungible nature of running backs. Hyde should be welcomed back to the team, but Breida/Williams/McNichols/Street FA/draft pick would be fine enough.

Reid has only been on IR once in his career...2016 for 6 games.
Why does anybody think that Reid is going to be any better--he is as good as he is going to get. Enough already--save your money unless no one wants to sign him.

Reid played better before he started having concussions early on. He's played safer the last 2 years and his change in approach was better health wise. He had a great close to his season and was flexible enough to play LB. he could be a swiss army kind of player, but I wouldn't resign him as a top tier player.
F Reid, lost all respect for him when he implied Boldin was a sellout for working with the league on the protest issues. Boldin is as real as it gets, a true leader in every sense of the word. Reid is just a poser who thinks he knows better.

This is a tough one but I guess I would have to say Hyde only because I'm not sold on Breida as a RB1. We have better depth at safety.
