Do you now regret rooting against the 49ers last year?

Still slightly miffed. Myles Garrett would have solved a lot of defensive woes we had this year, IMO.

We still don't have a LEO, and think we're going to be out of range next year to get a good one (Chubb, Landry). Going to get the 11th pick since the Rams are resting their starters.

So only hope is that maybe DeMarcus Lawrence is available in FA or other elite edge rushers, but that is probably going to be a slim chance since those don't usually go on the open market. Otherwise we might have to take a flier on a developmental project in the later rounds. Higher chance of bust rate.

Defense will probably still be average next year if they don't solve the pass rush issue.

Unless you like Davenport in the draft or Ansah in FA we're going to have to try to trade for an edge. I don't know if any team will bite. I like to think maybe the Jags will if they sign Cousins and need to let someone go for cap space.

With that said, it's hard to say how the draft would have played out. We definitely would have drafted Garrett, but I'm not sure if we still get Foster. Depends how the rest of the draft plays out with Cleveland drafting #2 and we'll never know. One thing is for sure: we definitely don't get an extra 2018 2nd and 3rd.

Of the top 7 pass rushers this year, only 3 were 1st rounds picks and Chandler Jones was the highest pick at #21. It's more exciting to get a highly drafted pass rusher, but just like with running backs, very good pass rushers can be found anywhere in the draft
I wanted Baalke out of the building and away from my team. The only way it was possible was if we had a horrible record because he was so good kissing York's ass, he ruined the team and was only going to make it worse. The toxicity needed to go and I didn't have any faith whatsoever that Kelly could lead the team much less did I feel Baalke would put together a competitive team or even a healthy one. f**k Baalke

Ya, cleaning house was a major reason we needed a s**tty season. Had we managed to win a handful of games, we'd be stuck with baalke, chip and the rest of those losers.
I did my fair share of rooting in 2016 but not against my team.
I hate to lose. Hate it. Im extremely competitive at everything i do in life, and i expect my sports team to be the same. I have always rooted for this team to win week in and week out regardless of roster and staff.

This thread is a set-up for personal attacks. Draft and FA conversation can take place in numerous other threads. We don't need another one here.
