And many of the Fans I saw, weren't even cheering ... I saw many of them:

• sitting
• talikng to friends
• eating (somewhat understandable)
• on their phones

We were looking good with Jimmy G before this, but hopefully beating a playoff contending team is going to make some free agents sit up and take notice.

If not, then our cap space probably will.

Clowney is one guy. This is an entire DL that can get after the QB.

And you can get rid of the ball as quick as you want and still take double digit hits and multiple sacks...which is what's been happening against an injury-plagued defense the past two games.

Only got hit 3 times today. Garoppolo subtlety dodges pressure like its no big deal.

3-10 teams (at the time) don't get any breaks from the officials...when we become a playoff team again, some of that'll change. It's not right, but that's how it is. Niners are proving they're turning a corner...offense is so much better the defense can be more aggressive. Garoppolo is proving each week he's what's been missing...there are other holes to fill, but we have our franchise QB. He'll get paid once the season's over. Having him makes Lynch's/Shanahan's rebuild clearer...surround JG with the right talent and this team will take off. Big challenges the next two games vs Jags & Rams...but our team won't be a pushover. It was exciting hearing Levi's Stadium rockin' today...and the best is yet to come.
