I agree, but it's in the football gods hands at this point. What will be, will be.

We win this game imo. CHI is worse than we are.

lmao, nope. The 49ers may win but CHI is on another level than the 49ers. The only team that may be on par with the 49ers are the browns.

You mean worse. Otherwise I agree.

I think 1 or 2 more wins would be great and probably won't affect draft position much. We still need the Giants to somehow win 2 more as well.

As for draft position, i see the 49ers to not win more than 2/5.
So if we end up with 3 wins this is our competition: (all other teams have 4 or more W already)

Browns: 0 Wins; RestOfSchedule: Chargers (A), Packers (H), Ravens(H), Bears(A), Steelers(A). 3 winable games
49ers: 1 Win; RestOfSchedule: Bears (A), Texans (A), Titans(H), Jaguars(H), Rams(A). 2 winable games
Giants: 2 Wins; RestOfSchedule: Raiders (A), Cowboys (H), Eagles (H), Cardinals(A), Redskins(H). 1 winable game
Bears: 3 Wins; RestOfSchedule: 49ers (H), Bengals(A), Lions (A), Browns(H), Vikings(A). 4 winable games
Colts: 3 Wins; RestOfSchedule: Jaguars (A), Bills(A), Broncos (H), Ravens(A), Texans(H). 2 winable games
Broncos: 3 Wins; RestOfSchedule: Dolphins (A), Jets(H), Colts (A), Redskins(A), Chiefs (H). 4 winable games

Conclusion: its hard to see us fall out of the top 3 and will have tons of trade leverage (Rosen,Darnold, Barkley).
I can see us very well overtake the giants.
So my best guess at this point of the season is we will draft at #3.

does head to head matter with draft slot or just strength of schedule?

Just strength of schedule, as an aside I would also like to be the lowest NFC team who keep their coaching intact so we can coach the Senior bowl, but I think we can win games an still get there, Giants will surely clean house

Kaep made his debut against the bears, will Jimmy G also?..

Yes
The Bears have lost by 7,6,3,and 3 at home.
They've beaten the 9-2 Steelers and thrashed the 8-3 Panthers (lol, yeah me too).

They've been creamed 3 times, all on the road. I have no idea what this all means except they're a much better team at home than you'd guess from their record.

Yep. Chicago is my local market team so I see enough of these guys. Terrible on the road but pretty decent at home. This will not be a cakewalk.

We're 1-10. No game is a cakewalk for us.
Start Beathard. No reason to even risk putting grapz out this year. That min and three seconds was enough for me

I barely remember that, how did he do?

Exactly. What are these dudes talking about? Beathard is only a back-up quality QB at best. I get it the kid has heart and can take the hits, but that doesn't mean he is actually good. They are nuts.

Is time to play Jimmy G, get him acclimatized with the system and his crew on offense. He needs to establish that chemistry with the O-line, RBs and WRs. The next 5 games until the end of the season will be great live experience which will set him up well to lead the offense in the offseason from OTAs to training camp thereby giving him the best opportunity to succeed as we kick off the 2018 season.

I think you're nuts to claim you know that CJ will be a backup at best. No one is claiming that he's the next great qb. Just that he has potential based off what we've seen. Also he's an NFL player so he is at least good.

That all being said I agree it's Jimmy G time and he seems like he has much more upside than Cj. We'll have to wait and see before we actually KNOW anything.
