Let's put it this way. We need to start winning to hit the ground running for next year. We can still trade up to grab Saquon Barkley if we truly beleive he is our guy. Not sure if our need will be at RB anyway. Anyone else is a crap shoot. So let's win now.

You're nuts for believing CJ earned anything. He is a rookie and you don't crown rookies. He earned his last start today and that's it.

Exactly. What are these dudes talking about? Beathard is only a back-up quality QB at best. I get it the kid has heart and can take the hits, but that doesn't mean he is actually good. They are nuts.

Is time to play Jimmy G, get him acclimatized with the system and his crew on offense. He needs to establish that chemistry with the O-line, RBs and WRs. The next 5 games until the end of the season will be great live experience which will set him up well to lead the offense in the offseason from OTAs to training camp thereby giving him the best opportunity to succeed as we kick off the 2018 season.

Colin Kaepernick first start was against CHI
Jimmy Garopollo first start will be against CHI

He's got to start, we've accidentally unwrapped our Christmas present and it can't go back in the box! I feel sorry for C.J. but that's football, ask Alex Smith.

A first road win is very important, I get that we want #2, but a few wins will really help to propel the ship and validate Kyle's methods, could end up being more important than a few draft slots
