Lets all take a moment to thank Janoris Jenkins for making a huge part of this win possible by playing totally uninspired football today, and just generally leaving his guys wide open.

Like Shareece Wright in the Bal game last year.
Jenkins was spectacularly awful.

That was in 2015.

Jenkins needs some of this in his life.

Ok let's not get ahead of ourselves now. Beathard is not the future of this franchise and he still is a career backup. Just cause we beat the Giants doesn't mean this guy is the second coming lol. This guy will go back to scoring only 10 points and people are gonna ask for jimmy again. Jimmy is the guy not Beathard.

That was my favorite part. Hyde took Casillas out. A thing of beauty.

Does every back up improved under a 0-9 beating. Didn't shriveled up and still looking like he can handle and play qb at NFL level...

Some people have already penciled him in as a career backup because he was drafted in the 3rd round. Let's not get ahead of ourselves

Not really. People thought jt O'Sullivan was the man for a minute look how that turned out. People thought nate Davis was gonna be the man look how that turned out. The only way Beathard is the future is if we play the giants for an entire season.

No draft pick is worth the historical stink of 0-16.

Team needed yo win. They deserved it. They put in the work they deserve the result. Even at 1 2 or 3 wins we have a good shot at a top 3 pick.

Agreed. I think Parcells did just that when he took over a 1-15 Jets his first season, and it was a preseason game. Do whatever you need to do to give the team a feeling of victory.

Isn't it way too early to make that call?
I think Beathard could be a good starter in this league.

Dude, he is TheRealGM, you shouldn't question authority like that.

Before the game i posted that only way to keep our QB from permanent injury was to just throw quick hitters, or 1 steppers. WRONG! Kyle showed us in the vid above that by keeping in a RB and TE, he actually COULD protect his QB even with an OG OC OG that just cannot block. Great move Coach Kyle, but why didnt' you do this some games before ...like after 3 or 4 games where hoyer and CJ just got the krapt beaten out of them? I salute you for FINALLY getting around to protecting CJ, just wish you would have started it sooner. I guess game before this the tape showed you that most QBs would have been in the hospital if they took even half the beating CJ took. Good for you to notice and yes, CJ has earned a spot on this squad for the next 3-4 yrs because of last weeks QB beat-up. But nobody can keep that up much longer. CJ is just one tough nut. But thank you for finally protecting him. Next time you see somtething that gross i hope you act a bit sooner. That also means that you can play JimmyG if you want and find out if he is the FR QB or not...and not get him half kilt in his first game. Your play calling and qb protection was admirable. I do hope you remember this next time you see your qB getting pasted one game after another due to the central part of an OL that just does NOT block.

Of course, the easier way is to go buy a top flite OC and 2 OGs in FA...and then go and draft 3 potential starters that could play from day one...who are in fact, backups. Soldier on, coach.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- An unruly Giants fan was bloodied after being forcibly ejected by seven security officials during the second half ofthe team's 31-21 loss to the 49ers on Sunday at Levi's Stadium.
The unidentified fan, who was wearing the jersey of cornerback Janoris Jenkins, and another fan in an Odell Beckham Jr. jersey were cursing at the Giants players as they walked back to the sideline after allowing a fourth-quarter touchdown that gave the 49ers a 31-13 lead, according to eyewitnesses who videoed the incident.
The rowdy fans were seen flipping their middle fingers and cursing at Giants players in footage provided to NJ Advance Media by Alex and Jakob Amster.
Alex Amster said the officers gave a warning to the fan in the Jenkins jersey, but "he kept cussing so they tried throwing him out of the stadium. He resisted and stayed in his seat. They tried to carry him out, but he was fighting back and heckling and even tried to spit on the officer."
The fan, who was sitting in the first row behind the Giants' bench, was tossed over the railing and onto the ground with a officer crashing on top of him.
The officer who came over the railing appeared to throw several punches at the fan while they were on the ground as other officers restrained the fan.

"They started punching him and one officer had a bloody nose because of this," Amster said. "(The fan) got up super bloody and was escorted through the tunnel by the (officers)."
The fan had blood next to his eyes on both sides of his face. He was handcuffed and led off the field through a nearby tunnel.

What makes you think that? Not way too early to make the call Garoppolo is the better an and the future. Nothing shows me that Beathard is gonna be anything. Dude couldn't even score more than 10 points before yesterday and he had everything Hoyer had before all the injuries.

Not if you're a real GM.

What was Eli's excuse? BeatHard outplayed him by an Iowa mile.

Giants had no run game. Didn't outplay Eli by that much. One td and 20 more yards. Eli didn't throw any picks.
Watching that game, the giants just did not seem to care. I saw their corners just look so out if it.
