Shanahan just announced that the remaining players left from the 53 man roster at the start of the season have all been placed on IR.

I think Beathard is gonna come out guns blazing he feels a little disrespected after trading for JG & will try to show his boss he should be given a fair shot at the starting QB position

He may but we still need our guys to catch the passes. You have to wonder how close the game against the Eagles would've been if Hyde caught those 3rd down conversion passes.

lol, this team is incapable of scoring 27 points in my opinion. cj is more worried about staying upright as compared to being a starter next year

Pretty sure Beathard understands why we made that trade. Its not like hes taken a stranglehold on the franchise QB spot, and Garoppolo was coveted league wide as a future franchise guy. For a 2nd rounder? Obviously they had to take that gift.

Beathard isn't ready anyways, and he knows it. Im not saying he's content as a backup, but I think he realizes that hes better off learning from the sidelines right now. And he knows that if he somehow outplays JG, he can take that job. Its not going to happen, but hes got a fair and square chance to win that spot.

I can see this game being decided by a defensive or STs score for sure. Have to wonder how we're going to attack with Garcon, and protect without Staley. We need a TACKLE at RT (if Brown moves to the left), not an OG attempting to play OT.

I'm expecting a lot of 2TE sets, and Beathard seems to have a decent rapport with Goodwin, so maybe it works out. Maybe we'll sprinkle in some gadget plays for Bolden? Maybe they promote Smelter? Who knows. But I plan on seeing a lot of Robinson/Goodwin outside with Kittle and Hikutini sprinkled in, with Hikutini playing the big slot in 4-wide sets.
