Just pick off Drew "See if you can catch this pass 4 feet over your head" Stanton a few times. He has been beyond bad in his last half dozen appearances.

I thought Gabbert was ahead of Stanton on the depth chart.

Nope, but he's only one play away from making an appearance. Please please please let this come true just for the entertainment value. He's apt to come up with at least a couple bonehead plays.

Gabbert can actually take off and run it on the ground, something that this team has struggled in defending with QB's scrambling and the zone read. Stanton is only slightly more mobile than Palmer and twice as prone to making terrible decisions with the football.
