Lets be honest, how many players away from being competitive are we?

Oh -- and by the way -- we're closer on defense than most people think. A really good edge rusher can make a world of difference. That said, I think we need another impact linebacker to pair with Froster, perhaps a dang safety that can stay healthy and I think we're there.

On offense, different story completely. We need tackles, guards and centers in that order. We need another RB because we all know Hyde is never going to be "the guy." We need a really good, fast, big, strong WR with hands like glue and we'll be set.

I think it will take two more drafts to get there.

Well, we may be one player closer! Its like the offseason shopping list has been reduced!

why tackles first? the guards have been the biggest weak links this season. I'd put tackles 2nd at least then center

So, I still think we are at least a center, maybe two cards, and WR away on offense, and an edge rusher, a line backer, a safety and a corner away on defense. Im not talking pro bowler and super stars, but dependable guys.
