i was told by the coaches they were going to do what it takes to have success this year.. i also did not expect to see so much regression from this team. as the team makes the same mistakes over and over. and not just the vets,. that leads me to believe that yes the coaches are in over their head or as chaz had said. kyle has to drop the god like image of himself and hire a oc to help him out. the youth is no longer an excuse in my opinion as the vets on the team are just as guilty

there is no winning culture being built. the team finds ways to lose to bad teams and more than is ready to lose big to good teams. you may be fine with 0-16 but i doubt the players are and do not be shocked if some in fighting starts to occur, not everyone shares your view that all is fine and going to plan. perfect

Not adding talent is not working.

A genius plan by Lynch and Shanny have made us 0-7 so far with the goal 0-16 at this point. We will lose the battles this year just to win the war in the long term with Cousins and trading away hopefully the #1 pick for a bounty of picks.

Clv has been trading #1 picks for years. Sign Cousins, draft Barkley and be done with the rebuild.

True but if they are able to pick up Cousins and end up with the #1 pick I think it has way to much value this year not to trade. In a perfect world they could move back a few spots and let someone else get their QB and they still have a shot at Barkley.

The drafting decisions are killing me , we could have had amari cooper 2 years ago and fournette last year . I remember way back when we could have had Vince wilfolk too not to mention smith over Rogers . We need a serious upgrade in our scouting department. Fournette is a generational talent , Thomas at best is a little above average, whoever made that choice needs to go . Draft department is abysmal.

Do we make an offer to the Steelers for M. Bryant right now? Young kid, off the field issues, but all the talent in the world. I hope we are inquiring at least.

Lest some of you have forgotten last year, we got blown out 4 of the first 7 games. Yesterday was our first. The Cowboys were due to blow somebody out and we were it. This kind of a loss could actually be good for the team...they saw how they fared against a very good team and it wasn't pretty. Both the OL and DL were no match for Dallas. Throw in a couple of fumbles and we made it easy to get trounced. It's not the end of the world...rather a wake-up call to show this team still has a lot of work to do and better players to acquire. That shouldn't surprise anyone...beyond the fact Lynch turned over almost 70% of the roster, there are obviously a lot of holes yet to be filled. On the positive side, it looks like we'll have the most cap space in the league. I've put together a list of UFA's to be considered and am posting it in the FA & Trades forum. The other plus is the draft...right now, we've got five picks in the first 3 rds. I'd say odds are Lynch will add to that with a trade or two.
