If only Shanny took over a team with talent like Harbs did.

All that hype and this is what we got. The media department did a great job on the reporters and analysts making them think we would be drastically improved. All those ticket sales, jersey and merchandise sales and it will quickly come back down to earth.

The reality is Baalke did a horrible job for years, we have a substandard line especially at the guard position, our WRs except for Garçon are undersized and inexperienced, and we have a backup QB servicing as a starter. It's going to take a few more years to get this right. I won't stop watching my team, but smh at anyone that thinks they're going 7-9 or .500

BTW, I agree with you on it being a good idea. Still too early, though. Maybe by late this season, but better to do it next year.

I don't know what year he did it I was born in 78. I just know he did it. I read an article with Montana talking about it. I thought it made sense and don't know why more teams don't do that with young QBs.

Expect to be frustrated because Shanny isn't gonna go away from the pass in the future games as much as you expect. That's just not his style. He's a pass-to-set-up run philosophy kind of guy. Then after the run is established the play action works better.

But it's gonna be a long season because the talent just isn't there, and it's compounded by the mental mistakes of penalties and wrong decisions by players that will stick around for a little while because they have a lot of young inexperienced players.

I was just hoping for a better year than people were talking but after today's showing.......it doesn't look like that'll happen.
