He was the 9th overall run blocking TE.

I think you're right!

...and one of Kyle's first FA moves. He knows how to block in this offense, in particular, IIRC.

for every decent McDonalds reception, there are 10 drops.

He had like 4 drops all of last season and was 3rd or 4th in average yards per reception for NFL TEs.

For me it's the health and $, I'd like to get some value for him since I like both rookies we have rn. I think he'll be kept more than likely though because he's not worth that contract to another team

He's got a $4 million cap hit this yr which isnt much of anything considering we're flush with cash. His contract isn't really that outrageous

There's a out there next yr and I'd actually like to see him with a qb for once (not that hoyer is much of anything).

I'd rather see what he can do this yr then get a conditional 5th or 6th...he doesn't perform then he's gone next yr.

Whatever happens, IMO, this is his make or break season.

I sure hope he can reach the potential I thought he had when I saw him in college.

He's an outstanding blocker. Perfect fit as a #3 TE.

They don't call him 'boner' for nothing.

I think you could say that about a lot of the guys hanging over from the baalke yrs...facts are when he got the ball he did something with it

We will see

That does make me feel a bit better, can be guilty of under valuing those types of players despite knowing there importance
Logan Paulsen
Vance McDonald
George Kittle
Cole Hikutini
Maybe we should see some of them in a game first.
What would we use a 4th TE for esp. when we have Juszczyk? Just put the 4th on the P.S.

There wont be a 4th TE, not when they will keep 4 RBs.

My sentiments, exactly.
No one is safe, except for Kittle and maybe Vance. But i don't think they will hesitate to cut him if other TEs are outperforming him.
