so many players that don't do nearly as much as he does, for us, make more. Dudes worth every penny IMO.
Also our leading receiver in 2024 with 1017 receiving yards. Also our best blocker in 2024. Every team in the league would love to sign him to that deal.

49ers always do this with older players. Then they get injured and decline. While they let young studs go. Like Buckner at the time he left.
Is he still great now? Yes. Just there is some risk to a huge deal above 31. Hope the backend years are not guaranteed.
Happy for him and the team. Just stating the obvious downside risks long term.

I feel like I've been saying it every season lol. They have underutilized him without question and yes hopefully it changes now without Kyle having Deebo to force feed and manufacture touches for.

This! He should have been getting this and the focal point of the pass game (like Kelce) since his 2nd year in the league. Argument can be made since his rookie season
