We then have to nail the rest of the picks on OL/DL.

We can do it. Not sure how George would feel if this came to be.

I would be good with this, cheaper than a wr and pairing him with Kittle may actually help the o-line. Just tough to think about a pick like this at #11. Do you think Warren would be the BPA at #11?

No common sense reason the 49ers should pay kittle.

Are you even a fan of this team? Asking cuz it feels like every post of yours is negativity and everyone/everything sucks.

Kittle is one of the only players last year who didn't regress from the season prior. He's the best TE in the game and a critical part of our offense.

He's going to be 32 this year. Kelce is going to be 36 this year. Nobody complained when the Chiefs extended him before last season.

Tony Gonzalez played til 37. Antonio Gates played until he was 38. Jason Witten played until he was 38(tho he did retire temporarily at 36).

Gronk retired early but it was because he didn't want to keep playing, not because he couldn't.

Kittle is not only a pivotal piece of the offense but he's also the heartbeat of it.

Would be like the Warriors getting rid of Dreymond Green. Smh
Kittle is one of the backbones to this team/franchise that you try to keep as best as you can while he is still a contributing player. Just having him as a motivator to the team on the sidelines is something that would be hard to replace.

someone can be a fan of a team while being negative. fandom doesnt get measured by positivity
I'll be worried if he starts skipping mandatory camps.

I'm not going to stress over a voluntary mini camp in April.

Hes old! Why pay him?
cuz he's been so good for so long……
get outta here with that. Get rid of him while he is still good. You'll get more for him. You are the most emotional moderator here bro. Do you want the team to get better?
you cut bait while the player is still good, you know, like the 9ers dld with Ronnie Lott. Jerry rice. Joe Montana. Those players were way better than kittle and they let them go. I'm a 49er fan, not a kittle or Brock fan. Whatever makes sense to get this team back in the post season and this makes the most sense. You don't pay an old TE, especially when you've gotten burned doing the same at other positions. It's a friggin business.

He's gonna make $14 million next season. Make the old guy play out his contract and then let him go get a payday somewhere else. I don't want the 49ers extending a 32 or 33 year old TE when we have a ton of other needs.

He had mini-camp on his private football field in his backyard.
Tell the WWE to pay him.

Soo...get rid of one of the top 5 players on the team, regardless of position, because we have other needs?

I get the age deal. But we arent going ti get better by bouncing Kittle. We'd get better by drafting and developing players that would push Kittle down the chart of top players. Drafting and developing those guys and extending Kittle can happen at the same time. We havent even proven we can develop tight ends and you are advocating for letting a HOF tight end go?

We traded Montana because we had Steve Young. We let Rice walk because we had Owens. Now Ronnie Lott's replacement, eh. But 2 for 3 is pretty good. Who is replacing Kittle?

Our 11th pick in the draft if he falls to us. More enhance offense than replace Kittle. I'd be super thrilled and prey the balance of picks can cover OL and DL.

He will get paid. He has earned it. Old yes, washed …?not even close. You can't let your dwindling circle of leaders walk and expect good results. I get the opposition, it's hard when all you hear is cheaper and younger from the front office. Folks are worried we are headed for multiple loosing seasons…. I am 2 but letting kittle go would bring certainty to that concern.
Kittle deserves to be highest paid TE but I also think it's funny the Kittles clutched their pearls when Juice was released. I don't expect them to look at the cap as a whole but it's all intertwined
