lol the webzone disrespecting a 49er great (again). SMH. I would take Kittle over Davis but it's a slight edge. Davis is probably the 49ers best TE ever had. (him or brent jones) Kittle will surpass both men within the next 5 years but Davis was pretty awesome too.

Within the next 5 years? Kittle is leaps and bounds better dude. I love VD but Kittle will be in the conversation with all time greats, not just 49er greats.
Facts, loved VD but Kittle is on another level

I wish but with Bill Belichick I think he's going to take him somewhat out of his game so I'm going with close to 80 yards.

In big games??? He set a playoff record for yards and he almost did it again in the playoffs. It doesn't get any bigger than that.
Verses the Giants in the playoffs - extraordinary
Verses GB in the playoffs - a mismatch nightmare
Verses the Saints in the playoffs - THE CATCH III

Is he still the only TE EVER with over 2 13 td seasons?

Come on

Yeah he had an awesome 2 year out of the 10 years he was with us. Congratulations on record setting games.
Makes you wonder how so many NFL talent evaluators and GMs could have missed on him so badly. 4.5 speed and a great blocker....how'd he fall to the 5th round?
Vernon Davis had a lot of useless muscle. He'd always drop on the spot at the first contact.

Happens every draft - you can't measure heart. The niners didn't think he would be as good as he is either.

Just proves - the draft is a crap shoot.

If he lasts that long. His style of play is very taxing on the body.

He fell because beathard was his QB and somehow didn't get eye popping stats out of kittle. But we traded up for beathard anyways.

Yeah let's disregard that he had plenty of good games and he hardly ever didn't show up in big games. Wow. He should get many congratulations on being such a good tight end and mismatch

Two things about the video. One, it's weird hearing Lynch call the game now that he's our GM. And two, I'm still amazed at how ugly Kap's throwing motion was.
