Not sure, but wasn't most of that with Mullens as QB?

Kittle's transformation is legendary 💪

oops I thought they said it was a record. Maybe it was the 15 catches that was the record. Oh well, He will just have to do it vs the Dolphins on Sunday.

It went something like, "don't get your hopes up on Gronkowski being a contributor this year in fantasy football: even if he comes back to form, he hasn't played a full 16 game season since 2011". I knew the guy dealt with injuries a lot, but holy cow that was crazy to hear.
I doubt Kittle's body will hold up, he's already getting shoulder and knee injuries on the regular. Guys who like to run over defenders usually wear down over time. Gate, Gonzalez, Graham etc have lasted so long because they don't do that.

I'm gonna guess that Kittle will have a similar career to Gronk. He'll be elite and a total game-changer, but he'll constantly be battling injuries. Gronk was always notable for his bruising, after-the-catch abilities. I see a lot of similarities between the two players, both in terms of their impact on the game, and also their playstyle.
Kittle also made an ominous comment in the offseason too. He said something like, "I really wanted to get this contract signed, because I don't want to play scared. I want to go out there and leave everything on the line on every play." I love that bulldog mindset, but the guy clearly has no intentions of playing it "safe" out there. Injuries will be a regular part of his career, there's no doubt in my mind.

It'd be nice if he picked his spots on when to lower the boom on incoming tacklers. 3rd down, go all out. Early game 1st down, try to evade. Hard for him since he's so competitive. One thing I'm wary of is defensive backs aiming low. No DB wants to look silly trying to tackle him high so they go for his knees. It's happened many times including when he recently got hurt.
#49ers TE George Kittle had 107 receiving yards last night. That was his 10th career 100-yard receiving game. That's the most by a tight end in Niners' history.
