Check that thread out. Kittle is worth every penny.

Oh yeah Kittle's worth every penny, the people who say he's not are crazy. They probably were to ones saying to trade him. SMDH.

I know they were in the minority but seeing crap like that really pissed me off as a 49ers fan. Like if you can't root to keep a guy like Kittle then wtf are you even doing? I get the point that sometimes too much money is too much money but I saw tweets that were basically like he's not even that good, it's all Kyle ship his ass out and replace him.

Kittle basically got the same deal as Jarvis Landry...just ask people who they'd rather have lol. FWIW I love me some Landry, but he rarely if ever plays on the outside as well.

Great deal for both sides. We got Kittle for the next 6 seasons.

6 seasons? I thought they ripped up this years contract and replaced it with the new one? That means we got him for the next 5 years, correct?

Absolutely not...rarely do teams rip up current contracts, especially rookie contracts.

His prorated signing bonus should get added to his cap hit this yr. I mean they can structure it anyway they want.

It's a reason why people should stop talking about APY it's pointless.

I would not trade Kittle for Landry, or really any of the top 10 paid receivers. The only receiver I would consider trading for strait up would be Hill. Shany's offense is a run first offense. As the above twitter feed establishes, Kittle is basically a third Tackle who is crucial to the run game. When paired with his receiving yards, touchdowns, and leadership, Kittle is more important to the entire offense than a receiver. I understand an argument for Hill because of how dynamic he is on offense in the run and pass game. And dont get me wrong, I love Evans, Jones, Thomas, Green, ect., but Kittle is more valuable to the offense as a whole. Just look at the Minn and GB playoff games. Just my opinion.

Not so sure about that...

The outside zone run *and* the Kittle Boot Pass are the bread and butter plays for Kyle. It's like having Jim Brown and Earl Campbell be the RB for Vince Lombardi's run to daylight offense. It's pretty unfair.
VERNON should buy some of them Kittle Corn's Stocks !!!

You can get through a minefield pretty quickly if you run without looking where you're stepping.

I think you mean best pass catcher not best player.

No, he might be right - who else is better?

Patrick Willis can certainly enter the chat. Although its hard to compare two different positions on opposite sides of the ball. We'll just say he's the best offensive player we've had since TO.

I'm not so sure I would even say TO. TO had a nasty habit of dropping passes on occasions. He was a good blocker but not on the same level as Kittle.

Lol, good one.

Personally, the way Kittle's trajectory is, I think he's as good an offensive weapon as we've had since Jerry Rice. T.O. had issues with Mooch, his QB, and the front office, Kittle doesn't.

I bet leadership doesn't get paid for, but really, could you imagine a better leader in the locker room than George? Me neither....and T.O...good as he was, just wasn't the leader that Jerry was, or George. He is our best player in a long time.
