We arent winning anything this year so why dies it matter?
With that attitude , why sign any vets at all this past off season then?

I agree , didn't like the move at all. Vance has some upside and has shown a ton of improvement. Has some big play making ability. Plus the damn contract was already paid for for the year. But in Shanny we trust I guess

Vance was going to get nicked up the first 3 weeks of the season and end up on IR at some point. It's just what he does.

Yea it's a high possibility . We have too many of those unreliable players. Does too much damage by keeping them and skipping opportunities at other players at the position because of hope that our injury prone players will all of the sudden play a full season.

I'm on record as one of the guys that still belived Vance could do something, so I was not a fan of the trade. I'd at least like to see KIttle outperform Vance in real games before dropping him. Maybe they wanted the roster space and wanted to keep someone who had a longterm future with the team. Hopefully Kittle is healthy soon and can show us why he is the starter.

I think it was because he had the long term deal so we wanted to take the cap hit now. If he was like Lynch, Hyde we would of ran with whatever he gave us and moved on next year.

The deal was essentially year to year. They could have cut him before April and owed nothing further.

This. It's already paid for. The guy can make big plays, why not? He must've been God awful in camp, but I haven't heard any reports like that. I'm not acting like we let go of Brent Jones or something, but I do think Vance could've helped the team this year. Time will tell.

This guy, Garcon, and Hyde might have been the only ones I liked today.

One of the few bright spots. I like this kid.
