Shouldn't we shelve him till the playoffs? He's much too important to risk right now.

If he can go at 75% than he plays even if he's just a distraction. Same goes with Sanders. The 49ers have almost no chance to win games again Packers, at Ravens, at Saints, at Seahawks without Kittle being on the field.

It is asking a lot of this team to play all games on the road in the postseason.

I think the article needs more detail. A broken bone seems unwalkable. Maybe a cracked bone is a better description ?

Doesn't matter if it's a hairline or a compound fracture - both are still technically broken bones. People walk around on hairline fractures all the time.
If George Kittle really has a broken bone in his foot they need to sit him down until its healed. I can't see any long term upside to playing him now. I would rather having him helping is win games for the next ten years then see him tough it out and risk further damage for a few games this year. His absence has had a huge impact on our both are running game and passing game but the team has managed to muddle through somehow.
Wtf why is he playing??
