Considering Kittle did this with:

1. a broken QB
2. a backup QB
3. a backup, backup QB

I'd say he deserves 1st team AP honors. But it is all about the winning team in the NFL.

Yeah Im not mad he didnt get first team. Im pretty happy with 2nd team. When's the last time we had an all pro skill position player? And he's only in his 2nd year. As long as he stays healthy he'll get a first team.

He also ran uphill, both ways... in the snow... while it was blazing hot outside.

Tough b*****d. They hurt like hell!

Respect
If we're gonna talk about the difference between Kelce and Kittle we need to talk about blocking. Kelce blocks like a WR and Kittle blocks like an all pro TE. People seem to forget about that when talking about Kelce.
Kittle is a great piece to have in this offense now we need to try & keep all of our playmakers healthy & on the field with this guy next year!

As much as i want to say he was snubbed i wanna see what his numbers look like with Jimmy throwing him the ball the whole season (which we have yet to see)

In the meantime, thank you George for being one of the few bright spots this season.

It may balance out. Jimmy is better, but will also probably spread it around more.

Garbage stats?
If Kittle's stats drop next year,

Mullens > Jimmy

And being bracketed all the time. People argue he was our only weapon like that is why he had the targets or yards HOWEVER the opposite is true. He had the most attention and coverage unlike kelse that had hill and hunt to take away coverages. It's a no brainer that Kittle had arguably the best season ever by a te
It's about winning. Kittle had 800+ yards while trailing, Kelce had 330. People see it as garbage time stats. His last td that put him over the top was the definition of a garbage time play.

Amazing season that was well deserving of 1st team honors but if it's close the guy on a winning team has the advantage.

Even as our only weapon he was still targeted less than Kelce. Kelce was targeted 150 times vs 136 for Kittle.

In the end, I'm fine with Kelce getting the nod. He's a stud and KC had a great year. I'm just f**king stoked about having a TE that averaged almost 16 yards a catch and had the rac yardage he did. He really is kinda like a faster Gronk.
