He's gotten plenty of chances. Can't run routes, can't block, he looks like a wasted pick.
Bingo!
Really???
you all saw him lined up at FB and got the chance to play at the position??
No, because he hasn't looked good enough to warrant that. He hasn't looked that good at what he was brought here to do. If you aren't a reliable blocker, or receiver at tight end does that mean we should assume you would excel at FB? Lol!
... uhmmmm, we once drafted a QB from Penn State and turned him into a FB, but didn't give him enough time to develop and the guy ended up winning a ring w/Seattle...
When I say give a guy a chance, I didn't mean to line him up on a short period, I mean, why not give him the whole year to learn and develop.. if we didn't see him (Bell) as a pass catching TE, we must have drafted him as good blocker.. NO?
Baalke drafted him so who the hell knows what he was thinking. And just because we made a mistake once on a different guy doesn't mean anything. Why in the world would we tie up a spot to develop a guy at a new position when he hasn't shown himself to be a great blocker and receiver? Did you buy his jersey or something and don't want it to go to waste? None of this makes any sense.

How do you think Shanahan will start working "juice' into the offense? as a receiver out of the backfield?

One of the sportwriters wrote an article recently where he said that the players on offense other than Hyde and Garcon were 'replaceable" players (whatever that is). That struck me as not only an unnecessary slight on the other offensive players (for example, he has no idea how good a tight end that Kittle will be), but he for sure missed the mark on Juszczyk - who is one of best, if not the best, fullback in the league.
That got me to thinking about how little of Juszczyk it seems like we saw in the preseason. He had a few really nice plays, but based on what I've heard of Shanahan's offense, and the Lynch called him an "OW" (offensive weapon), I have a suspicion that he will play a noticeably more prominent role in the regular season. Maybe Shanahan was keeping Juszczyk under wraps a bit to keep defensive coordinators they would have to face from getting an early start in analyzing how he will be using Juszczyk.
Anyway, I have a strong hunch that Juszczyk will be more strongly featured in the offense against the Panthers than it seemed like he was in the preseason.

I believe this as well.. Whatever it takes to exploit a matchup. Look out for Kittle in the RZ too.
