Same with Purdys 2nd pick. Thats just a great defensive play. Tip the cap to the opposition sometimes.

PURDY made a dumb throw the first time, why give a DB a chance to even touch the ball.. just throw it high!!

Because if Cowing doesn't quit on that play, then the DB won't have a chance at the ball. Purdy has made that same throw 3x earler this year and it ended in a highlight because the WR didn't quit on the play and made a nice sideline grab.
If Cowing made a move and grabbed it somehow, he wouldn't be cut and have a highlight played over, be all smiles in the after game presser but alas. Always stopping short.

I'm sorry, but I'll take the word of a player that was ACTUALLY IN THE GAME or a player that was ACTUALLY ON THE TEAM over the analysis of a fan on a website. You can break it down any way you like to make it seem Kyle made all the right decisions, but when a player that was on the opposing team in real time tells you the head coach did exactly what the defense wanted, I think his take holds water.

You clearly have no idea what real time is. There is a reason coaches and players say "will have to look at the tape first" all the time.

Thinking a player in the game somehow has a better grasp on what happened than the actual film is something. I can guarantee if his comments didn't match your irrational take you wouldn't be taking his word for it.

This isn't a magical act. It's an NFL game. A game that gets recorded for people to rewatch as well as a game that gets charted so we can see whether the team actually stopped running. They didn't. Certainly not with the made up criteria you made up.

No matter how you slice it your post is filled with false information. That's pretty typical for you when it comes to this topic. Post with facts or don't post about this. This isn't your first warning. Literally all you had to do was post that Roddy White clip and say "I agree with this"

But you decided to go in deeper and throw in stuff that simply didn't happen. Facts or move on.

It seems like your argument is with Ward and/or White, not me. I'm sure they did not review the film(s) postgame like you did. I'm just posting the thoughts of players that either played with or against Shanahan, and I think their opinions hold more weight than yours or mine. You obviously don't. Maybe you should be arguing with them. I'll just move on…

Hmm i wonder why Buckner decided to turn down a chance to go to the up and coming Bears and chose to reunite with Kyle??? Surely you'll value his opinion???

return game is a joke, eddy is sucking hard also, that punter has been pretty solid that's about it, also cowing needs to go; you gotta fix this mess now or else your season ends in predictable fashion whatever your weak link is it will get exposed in postseason

Agree 💯 %, if they can address that before the trade deadline ends, that would be perfect. 👌

Well, how do you adjust this weird new kickoff BS. This new kickoff alignment is strange, and I believe it takes away from the return game.

I hate it, go back to the old way, either 30 or 35 yard line kickoff. A tb on the 20 and be done with it. These kickers send balls into friggin orbit now anyways.

This. I can't stand the new kickoff rules. A touchback is nearly the same as kicking out of bounds....

I think Sigle and Gifford out hurts since they were on the coverage teams. (talking about vs ATL)
Glad we are getting players back and trading for some. Kyle is a likable coach who players enjoy playing for. Kyle is a good coach but he is not elite. Atlanta's loss was an example of the organization trying to find ways to prove Kyle is elite by winning without good players playing. Unfortunately, that is a false narrative. Kyle is a good coach who needs elite players to beat good teams just as Brock is a good QB who needs elite players around him to win. I think Bosa could have played last game and I don't think McCaffrey needed to leave and then come back when we were losing. I think the 49ers need that 1 seed and bye. The organization needs to be better.
