Sure didn't. But a mediocre starting QB shouldn't be able to consistently move the ball on the D. Just like 2nd half of last week.

Brocks pick was on the 10. Defense can't force a damn punt?
Not Shanahan's or Morris fault we lost. This is on the players, mainly the play of the QB. Also back to back fumbles by the RBs was ridiculous.

Nope they deserve some blame too, their game plan vs Atlanta was f**kin horrible!!!

Zero on Shanahan but lots on Morris. Lots. We play with waaaayyyyyy too much cushion, which is okay if you have good enough players to break to the ball but not our corners.

Disagree. The game plan was fine and we were working them on offense in the first half.

The pivot after mcaffrey got hurt and the rbs started fumbling was terrible.

The issue was they should have kept running the ball splitting carrys between black and James. Black actually looked terrible before the TD. He was like 5 carrys 0 yards before he had that big hole.

They should have given James more carrys.

Morris just wanted penix to look good so he never blitzed him because he likes him...

The entire third quarter the falcons had the ball. We also kept running that pitch play to black which also was wasting downs and terrible...

By the end of the third it was already desperation time so the game was squandered by that point.

Disagree. 100% Morris's fault. You have a statue QB and couldn't scheme up one pressure ? Your corners playing with 10 yard cushions ? Everything any anything underneath wide open.

this was a defensive failure all around, and Morris should get all the blame for it. Can't expect the offense to score 50 pts every week just to cover up a glaring weakness.

Can't believe I'm going to say this, but can't blame Kyle's offensive gameplan for this one. He put the limited players he had in position to win. Of course hiccups will happen with backups and young guys.

Morris's defense played like s**t and let Atlanta put up a whopping 30. Indefensible

What do you expect the defense to do when they have multiple possessions where they start damn near midfield because of special teams? It's not the defenses fault the offense had 4 TOs. This loss is more on Purdy and the offense.

Purdy's INTs occurred bc he was trying to bring back the team with a battered offense. That was going to be a tall task when you're missing all your receivers and your best back is busted. Should've never been put in that position, and I agree that STs s**t the bed just as much as the defense did.
Way too many penalties.
Too many TOs
Defense played bad
STs played bad.

Can't win like this. Oh well at least we got that loss out of the way and we didn't have bad injuries.

Purdy had guys open and didn't pull the trigger. That's on Purdy not the defense. Purdy had the team in the RZ and threw a boneheaded INT. That's on Purdy not the defense. Black fumbled in RZ again that's on Black not the defense. The defense gave the offense multiple stops in the 4th quarter and what did they offense do? They turned the ball over again in a position to win it. This game was lost because they didn't protect the football.

Black's fumble is on him but when Warner punches the ball out it's a great play by him. Fans forget that the other side gets paid to make plays too.

Same with Purdys 2nd pick. Thats just a great defensive play. Tip the cap to the opposition sometimes.
