Good article.
On the surface, there's no reason for Jacksonville's juggernaut defense to give up 37 points to an offense featuring middling skill talent like George Kittle, Trent Taylor, and Marquise Goodwin.
Shanahan, however, took Jacksonville defensive coordinator Todd Wash to the woodshed throughout the entire game. Shanahan stretched the field vertically and horizontally with his play-action passing attack, and Wash never had an answer for him.
Do the Jaguars have the coaching staff to maintain a postseason run? A closer look at the 49ers' obliteration of the Jaguars' defense shows some cause for concern.

I agree, good article. I think their bigger problem is the lack of offense. I believe they lost a couple of WR's to injury in our game and one has an achillies tear? Anyway, the point is with regards to the Jag offense, if you stop the run, their QB - at least when they played us - was not an elite passer like a Rogers, Rothlesburger, or Brady. Our pass rush is mediocre even with the new players recently added on defense, and our defense was able to pick him off 3 times. Is the bad QB play because of a lack of good WR's or is it bad QB play, or a bit of both? But if they want to get to the NFC championship game, they need more consistent offense.
