They get erased the same way Dallas got erased in '94 — by lining up, swinging first, and taking what's yours.

Mythical? Absolutely not. Just ask Tom Brady led teams or the Eagles. But they do have the 49ers number. No question about it.

He showed that last year.

Super Bowl 54 still feels like the game that we should've won. We had the ball AND a 10-point lead with half a quarter remaining. That's a win 9 times out of 10.

People talk about Super Bowl 58 more (probably because it was more recent and it went to OT) but it never felt like we really controlled that game. It just felt like a 50/50 game until the end.

Super Bowl 47 was honestly lost during the week. You can't go down 28-6 in the 3rd quarter and expect to win.

As much of a mini-miracle that the regular season run was, 2021 might've been the second-best opportunity. Tartt catches and returns it and we probably get the Bengals in the Super Bowl who we had just beaten in Cincinnati the month before.

If prime Purdy is our QB in 2019, I think that game is over well before the 3rd and 15 disaster. They needed a QB they could trust. Who could make big time throws.

Except we had that opportunity to make amends with Brock Purdy, and still came up short.

Anyone want to guess the common denominator in both those losses ?

Why bring a former coach down just to prop Shanahan up. Harbaugh was a good coach for us when he was here. Accomplished just as much as Kyle in a shorter time frame.

I know it's hard to accept Kyle's shortcomings, but to shoot down former coaches just to make him look good ? What's next ? Bill Walsh comparisons ? Oh wait…

Because haters like you want to pretend he was a better coach when he's clearly not.

Kyle's shortcoming list is shorter than every coach in the league not named Reid. Just had the bad fortune of playing a dynasty at full strength in the SB instead of the Bengals or Patriots.
Imagine being so miserable than you want to bash the coach after a blowout win. What a sad existence.
How those Jim Harbaugh chargers doing right now ?
Condolences to the Kyle haters

it was a rough one today

Ugghh ok I'll bite

Harbaugh was great but he joined a stacked roster, Kyle had one of the worst rosters ever in 2017

Dude Jim is NOT at the level of Kyle is, he's not meant for the NFL, his rah rah s**t and tough guy crap doesn't work on grown ass men, it works on college kids, not NFL players, no wonder he got a C on the NFLPA report card last year, he's not a good fit in the NFL and he isn't a QB whisperer.

People like him refuse to acknowledge just how stacked that 2011 team he inherited was compared to the 2017 team that Kyle inherited, night and day, 2011 roster was far far superior to the 2017 roster.
Go 49ers! Super Bowl bound!!!

The 1994 49ers got Deion Sanders, Ken Norton, Rickey Jackson etc to help get over the hump to beat Dallas. Who did this team get? Mike Evans? Maybe.

Not a single person with the slightest knowledge of the game thought the Dolphins had a chance to win today lmao laugh at the "Shanahan haters" in January or February, not week 2 vs a "rebuilding team"
