I love to criticize kyle and his cookie cutter route concepts, but I have to give him credit today. He created some interesting matchups and angles on his primary route concepts, and Brock ate 'em up. Very successful and unusual for kyle. Lots of open looks and Brock took them WITHOUT improvising scrambling going off schedule. Oodles of ideas that worked. good job Brock to bring it home... and thank you Kyle for the interesting, out of the ordinary concepts. Appreciate it and very nice.

Nothing unusual about it. Kyle leads the league in getting guys wide open routinely.

Hasn't been true since the Miami game of 2022.

Super Bowl 54 still feels like the game that we should've won. We had the ball AND a 10-point lead with half a quarter remaining. That's a win 9 times out of 10.
People talk about Super Bowl 58 more (probably because it was more recent and it went to OT) but it never felt like we really controlled that game. It just felt like a 50/50 game until the end.
Super Bowl 47 was honestly lost during the week. You can't go down 28-6 in the 3rd quarter and expect to win.
As much of a mini-miracle that the regular season run was, 2021 might've been the second-best opportunity. Tartt catches and returns it and we probably get the Bengals in the Super Bowl who we had just beaten in Cincinnati the month before.

If prime Purdy is our QB in 2019, I think that game is over well before the 3rd and 15 disaster. They needed a QB they could trust. Who could make big time throws.
