Payton and Reid not great starting off

Andy Reid?

Seemed like the Chiefs had a pretty good week 1.

More like the Broncos were total ass, two turnovers, four sacks lol.. and KC relied most heavily on Walker. Meh-omes wasn't that impressive. Seattle giving up Walker is a head scratcher. We will destroy Denver and I think we have a decent shot against the Chiefs.

Actually Mahomes was impressive when you consider that many thought he woukd start the season on IR. He looked rusty as far as his passing but he was running well when he had to. He doesn't have great receivers and 49er fans often used that as an excuse for Purdy.

I'm just mad that the queefs are looking to dominate the AFC the same time we are looking to dominate the NFC. I don't want a part 3 of this horror story

We play them week 16. Let's get that monkey off our backs then and moving forward.

I'm good with our guy.
4 Innovative? I just see one

Reid - product of BW and still needs Mahomes to run around to execute broken plays

Payton - adopted the WC offense by stealing all of BW tapes from the 49ers.. now he's stuck

McVay - Product of Shanahan and now is trying to create his own stupid 13 offense which removes your best players off the field

Yea, let's just skip that all 3 are Super Bowl champs. Shanahan's the REAL winner on that list 😂

Young was talking about innovative coaches.

A coach can be innovative but for other reasons, may not win a SB. Don Coryell is still recognized for the innovative way he changed offensive football in the NFL yet died without a ring.

Your bias is preventing you from comprehending the topic. All you seem to care about is running down Shanahan regardless of facts or circumstances. It's getting old.

Exactly, not sure what Smokey is referring to.. maybe due to just getting the win?, but somebody has to win the game and the Broncos outright sucked in all phases

let's not get lost in the analytical weeds, mahomes came back from major injury no real offseason was flexing on denver who was hosting AFC champ game they put belt to ass, mahomes is probably on the mt rushmore of pro athletes that's just being honest

Andy Reid dusted off the old Alex Smith playbook for him

This looks more like Tim Tebows playbook

The last two years when healthy, Mahomes has been pedestrian

Chiefs also needed non-calls and calls to put it away yesterday

watching the game i didn't see pedestrian, opening drive he does a long TD run on denver, i was told he's not gonna run this year cuz of the injury, when i heard that i was like yeahh, i don't think so.. he's mahomes. he's unreal. the entire nfl basically changed how they play defense due to him like a steph curry effect, that's why you don't see the deep stuff they keep it in front and he beats the heck out of it anyway arms and legs

You like to ignore what actually is being seen on the field (Jimmy g)

but that run he did was slow, bad tackling and favoritism by the refs

There is nothing wrong with Mahomes and the pass chart. Looks like Reid did exactly what Kyle did and killed them with the short game. I saw at least one pass he threw downfield where the WR ran the wrong route or they wasnt on the same page. 49ers just have smarter WRs

Mahomes looked like Mahomes but maybe as not as nimble with that brace on. I'd be surprised if he doesnt play at an elite level again.

Walsh was called a genius and is still considered one of the great offensive minds ever but he needed Montana or Young to make it all work. The same way Reid needed Mahomes. Every great coach needs the right players to carry out his plan.

Only Week 1, but 49ers are #1. If they can keep up this pace throughout the season watch out!

We're pretty much number one every year.

It's now a long battle with attrition for us
It's pretty simple to me. Kyle with some more favorable officiating is a SB winner while doing absolutely nothing different.

Now we don't live in hypotheticals so Kyle hasn't won a SB but to me at least that's why I'm not going to grade every HC who won one over him.
