It's well established the loss was entirely his fault.
Not entirely. But he has a track record of f**king it up at the highest level. Stealing losses from the jaws of victory. Or is the same pattern in 3 Superbowls just mere coincidence and we should blame all 159 players on those 3 rosters

Hopefully Raheem's defenses can save those kinds of situations in the future. Personally, I've always held that its Kyle's unbalanced defenses that has cost him championships - not his offense, but yes - reasonable people can disagree.

Who do the detractors and Madden Franchise Mode "experts" think should take his place.... ?
Honest question.
Honest question.

As much as it's fun to rehash stories we've discussed here for years...let's try to keep it to current stuff or at least more recent events.

I think he showed the world what he is capable of last year. We were in it to the end with all those injuries. Give him players that stay on the field and he will give us a championship. Very simple. The coach is top tier and is the farthest thing from the problem. The GM though is a different story altogether.

Ben Johnson would have been a great fit when that question was asked a couple years ago, but people just laughed. Oh and Super Bowl winner Mike Macdonald's name was also brought up, but again the Kyle cult just laughed.
so why ask that question ? The Kyle supporters will laugh it off and find reasons that certain candidates would not be good fits….only to watch those same candidates have more success than guy in 1/10 the seasons he coached

Ben Johnson has proved zero...yet.
Mac was not brought up in any real form.
Hindsight is a drug and people need help with it.

I would suggest some look up the term "unreasonable." And suspect your pic is there......

Ben Johnson has shown he has the capability of being a good HC, at least in my opinion. Obviously MacDonald has too.
The bottom line is the fire Shanahan crowd has really no good argument to fire Shanahan other than he hasn't won a SB. He's been one of the absolute best HC's throughout his tenure here, and he's the organization's most valuable asset. Anybody with an ounce of football sense understands this.
