Could easily beeen 14-0 the first 2 offensive drives on the Jags best D in the NFL.

The scheming was excellent. From the very beginning they seemed intent on punching Jacksonville in the mouth and getting them off balance.

I totally agree, and I'll just add that Kyle's schemes shredded Bill Bellichick's defense in the super bowl in the first half. If Kyle had our 2011 defense, I'm pretty sure that it would have been a L for Tom Brady and the Patriots. Point is that if a genius defensive coach like Bill couldn't handle Kyle's schemes, I don't think very many other coaches can either.

.....it would've been a lot worse for Jacksonville if Jimmy G. had Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. But all in all I thought the running game did alright and better than I expected vs. Jacksonville.

It shredded another sister-defense in the playoffs...Seattle.

When it comes to the "talent" discussion, this is a classic example of how important X's and O's are.

On paper, their defense vs. our offense should have been a steam-roll game. It's not even close. Their defense has all the "talent" we wish we had in this same exact scheme.

There was no way Breida and Hyde should have found any success in the run game against that front when Tomlinson, Kilgore, Fusco and Beadles are leading the way.

Bourne, Goodwin, Taylor and Kittle against that secondary? Laughable!

But the 'X' in 'X's and O's' actually stands for 'X-Factor.'

That's not to take away from JG. He simply executed the game plan minus one off-script play and was even off on his accuracy today...and we still murdered them.

Are you telling me that "Hit 'em in da mouf!" isn't a competent offensive scheme?

Kyle's zone run is such a wonderful compliment to the passing game, I'm still really learning it now from an X's and O's standpoint and its definitely more timed choreography than overpowering the defense.
I was on the fence early with KS, thought his first half of the season showed some concerns

What a difference a QB makes

Very excited what he can do next year

It is fun to see Kyle's playbook in action. It will be even better once we fix the oline and get a true #1 WR.

Totally agree, and Kyle's assembled an offense with various different talents. He mixes and matches the talents to the various play calls, and his play calling in itself is wonderfully unpredictable. Most coaches just try to draft, trade, or pay for more power and more speed, but Kyle is very particular about his players. They have to have a certain kind of power, a certain kind of speed and they have to play well together in a choreography that is well timed.

Like the zone run is timed to the running backs first 3 steps. It's incredible how those run concepts evolve.

Shoot his system might be like Patriots, no true #1 needed
The Kyle and Jimmy duo is going to terrorize the league for years to come, like Palpatine and Vader.

Yes how dare we critique a 0-9 head coach.

you guys are taking these wins pretty hard

Not really I haven't said anything negative after the wins. Its defenderdx bumping old posts and inciting. I kinda feel sad for him.

nothing wrong with bringing up old posts when ever since JG started and proved you and the rest of the negative-nancy's wrong. if anything should give you perspective now. I also didn't just do that to call out unjustified posts, but gave props to people who saw ahead and the bigger picture in our worst moments.

News flash. Nobody cares what you think.

news flash. the crow has been served.

Yah real crow at 4-10. Lol the bar is low. Sad

How about 5-10 and carving up the best defense in the league?

Well they WERE the best defense in the league until they played us. Now they're only the SECOND-best defense in the NFL. Yup you're right clearly hasn't proven anything

Good point. Garcon will be returning so the play as it is might work out.

They were 1 knockdown ball at the LOS to be up 14-0

The reaction on the sideline of Kyle saids it all

And a fraction of a second later on that hit that caused the Church INT from being down 23-9.

They have Gronk lol
It's nice to not be searching for a new head coach again, thank you Kyle.

Almost not gonna know what to do. It's just been standard MO around here the last couple of years. Hopefully, we don't have to worry about another HC vacancy for years.

If this pans out for the long term it's also gonna be great not risking having our offense leave the building for another HC vacancy in the form of a hot OC. That's why my personal preference of a HC-type is the Walsh/Holmgren/Mike Shanahan play caller type. But then again, I have a huge bias towards the offensive side of football.
