Curious why the mentioned Kyle's Tesla first, when stating... "Tesla vs a Mercedes". Alphabetical order is not being used here, so is it being implied that the Tesla hit the Mercedes? (When the injuries are taken into consideration, you would think Kyle is the one who got hit) We'll see.

Edit- but let me be clear, the fact that the accident happened around 6pm, plus the info the Police have released, I don't think anything crazy happened (like some on the internet are speculating).

But about the media and all of this.

The 49ers now own about $100 Million (93.8) worth of ESPN...

When the NFL bought 10% of ESPN, I'm sure having even more control of the NFL's image/narrative had something to do with it.

And I'm sure that also keeps other outside journalists, including the big stations (Fox, CBS), cautious in how they go about things.

I'm certainly not going to tell people whose tweets they can post on here as long as they don't break forum rules but I will say Tony Farmer is trash.

The guy is a total grifter posing as a journalist. Some did a great job calling him out on his BS. A journalist digs into a story he/she may think is there and then puts it out there when they find something worth talking about.

Tony takes a situation and then asks completely unfounded questions and hypotheticals without any proof/logic behind them and then tries to "research" to see if any of them are legit.

The reality is there are so many people out there rooting for the 49ers to fail or simply Kyle Shanahan that they're eating up his stuff. Meanwhile this tweet to me gives the best breakdown of why the idea that there was some major coverup is without merit.

This was simply an accident during the offseason and the first responders involved actually did their jobs and didn't go blabbing about things so the story didn't get out until the 49ers had to release it.

The same people spreading that the cops are liars and are covering up for Shanahan being under the influence would've certainly had no problem believing the police had they reported Kyle was under the influence.

The idea that the beat writers knew beforehand is also false. None of them knew. Kawakami said he knew something had happened because Kyle's reps canceled his scheduled appearance on his podcast,but that he didn't know what it was. He knew it wasn't a firing or a trade or something like that so he just let the process play out, but he didn't know it was a car accident until the press release. One could argue they could have dug into things like TMZ, but respectful media isn't going to do that when there's zero reason to.

I also suspect the plan was for Kyle to show up for the press conference as scheduled and just explain what happened, but as the day got closer his concussion symptoms didn't subside, so they changed their approach to have him out and have Lynch present what he did.

From the little reading I did , that intersection is known for people speeding on Alma , and that makes it dicey if you are entering Alma from Hamilton .

if I had to guess , someone made the turn onto Alma and got hit . It could be he said she said about a red light and it could be a he said she said someone was speeding on Alma.

Palantir building is right there so maybe they are reviewing the footage .
