When was that a lethal combo? Delanie was dropping passes all over the place. He didnt become a player until he left.
Um... WHY do you think he left???? You don't sign a TE "dropping passes all over the place" to 4 year contract to be your starter. Yes he had his drops, like Vernon used to... but he was damn dangerous, and we've NEVER have had two playmaking TEs at one time like that since... Vance McDonald had size and speed, but not the agility or consistency than Walker had with us... Tonges has the clutchness... probably better hands than both Walker and Vernon, but he doesn't have the lethal speed as they did.
Yall fans are weird ass hell when it comes to our past contributers...our past playmakers who helped the team...... well unless it's Alex Smith and Jimmy G, then yall get wet all over again when it comes to them.
When Vernon or Randy Moss (yes Randy) cleared out the middle, Delanie was killing teams over the middle.. as well as a great blocking TE.
