What I am asking myself is do we have an owner who can sit him down and tell him that, then the two men try something new that may benefit everyone. I personally don't think Jed has it in him and I think Kyle is too stubborn to check himself out of the personnel process.
Jed didn't even know they had signed Kirk until days later because he is too busy doing side quests.
As long as Purdy keeps making the playoffs 2 out of every 3 years both Shanahan and Lynch will have job securiity.
