As many as he wants.

I think your right!
😂😂

The Kyle support has become cult like. I suspect he could lose a couple more SBs and he'd still be celebrated for getting us to those Superbowls to begin with…

The comparison to Walsh is unfortunate. Shanahan is more comparable to Mariucci. Like Shanahan, Mariucci was good at getting the team into the playoffs but didn't show the top end to close the deal. Getting into the playoffs is great considering the alternative most teams face each year.

Ahmm…no

Mooch took over a HoF QB with elite skill players, great OL and never made it to the NFCCG.

It's another laughable analogy people make in here to diminish what Shanahan has done as a HC. Not all HCs who haven't won the SB are equal.

Shanahan has 9 playoff wins as a HC. He would have several SBs with Steve Young and Jerry Rice and TO.

Or if we look at his coaching career as a whole he could easily be the guy that chokes away SBs with Steve, Jerry and TO.
Not even close, you're really reaching and showing ineptitude towards the game

And yet he's choked away 2 SB's here already.

I think a two-game sample size is a pretty dumb way to critique a head coach but maybe that's just me.

By your logic does that mean 80% of head coaches in the league are 0-0? Is being 0-0 better?

Jed just said he wants Kyle here a long time and even longer than that. Which of course is the correct response

It really is. "Fire Kyle" is the line of assclowns.

You want to be critical of Kyle, fine, there are valid reasons to be critical without rising to the level of making firing Kyle a logical thing.

Agreed. But the predictable a will say people who don't blame everything that happens on Kyle are cool with second place or some variation of that. Kyle has his faults but if he continuously has the team playing late into the season I'm good with it cause like many around here probably believe eventually he will get over the hump.

He'd spam the threads with fire the new coach or trade Brock. Guaranteed

Would love to sit down next to them and hear those conversations.

I bet they are talking about golf. I do love that everything I've seen from the coaches meeting it's Saleh and Kyle next to one another. Almost like the one kid that tags along with his friend to a party he doesn't know anyone at.

I'd miss him as much as I missed Alex Smith when we go rid of him. But I did enjoy being able to say "duh" amongst Niner fans when he continued to prove in KC that he's not much more than a game manager. Whereas in SF the fans would behave kind of like how they do in this thread every time you mentioned Alex not being good enough to win a Super Bowl…
