They have one two major things working against them that is one it's so hard to win back to back SB's and two they are asking Sam Darnold to win back to back SB's. Has anybody in history ever won back to back SB's with a non elite QB?

Well once upon a time they saying around these parts was that you couldn't win a SB without an elite quarterback. It's what gave McVay a leg up on Shanahan. He had Stafford. Kyle went for Lance. Darnold proved that being serviceable with a good team around you is all it takes. Unfortunately for us we were in that situation twice (second time with an above avg QB) and still couldn't get it done. Oh well

We were this version of the Seahawks in 2019:

A team that came out of nowhere to become a powerhouse thanks to some good drafts and suddenly had a lot of great, young and cheap players with a young and exciting coach.

The difference is that the Niners blew their chance of winning the Super Bowl that year.

The Seahawks might not win another Super Bowl in the next 5,8 or 10 years but they already won it.

Ha! If we did that everyone would be saying "we're desperate and we have to go scrambling for their leftovers" Surely it's the highest form of flattery that they feel the need to pilfer our lower level staff and promote them?

I mean, promoting our TE coach to their OC seems kind of pathetic IMO.

Could Kyle and the 49ers blocked the interview? The 49ers were blocked from interviewing a Falcons assistant.

i mean this is happening every year how can Kyle get a good working relationship with his assistants when teams keep hiring them away?

to be fair hes been with Kyle since 2019 so its not like Kyle was promoting him and maybe he wanted a promotion? Who knows...

The 49ers were blocked from interviewing a Falcons assistant for a lateral position. Teams can no longer block assistants from interviewing for coordinator positions because it's considered a promotion.
Interesting hire by the Seahawks, but I'm good here. Until Tonges this year, we haven't really seen much development in our TE room. Funny that people keep picking at our staff, free agents, and coaches.

Why? He's been heavily involved with gameplanning and installing the run game for years. He's got a deep coaching background, having coached offense and defense and even being an analytics guy. Exactly the kind of assistant that would appeal to MacDonald.
Hope Kyle would give Ben Steele a look. The Cards TEs were among the best performing units on the team. Plus he'd be returning to where his career started as a player.

How do you think their fans will like it if they don't win another one for several years?
Shanny's legacy thus far is blowing three super bowls, one in a historic fashion that will never be matched.

He's also been passed over for our OC job about 5 times! Kubiak x 2, McDaniel, Mike Lafleur am I missing any? I wouldn't use pathetic, but it's a huge compliment to us.

The narrative 10 years later now he choked the infamous "28-3" vs Pats in Houston is just utter b******t. It was b******t then it's b******t now. That's on Dan Quinn. It really f**king pisses me off.

Yea it's freaking dumb as hell to keep bring up that game 10 years later
I wonder what Young2Uwaezuoke thinks.
