It was an easy schedule. That SOS is bolstered bc of our losses to those teams. I guess Kyle fans took this COTY thing seriously and are now findings ways to justify why he deserved it over guys like Vrabel, MacDonald, Johnson. It's a meaningless award in my opinion but I guess it just gives ammo to defend someone that has zero SB rings as a coach…he was COTY in 2025!

It wasn't what anybody said, it was actually projected to be the easiest schedule. I agree it wasn't the easiest amongst the easy, but it was easy imo and I picked them most games. It's even easier factoring in getting to play Seattle week 1, road Bryce, and Colts when they couldn't win anymore. Those are details sos doesn't take into account
I didn't vote him last, but looking at the other candidates I can see why it ended up that way. You'd have to take that one up with the voters
It wasn't easy compared to the rest of the league. Which is the point…It was right in the middle of SOS this yr
you could literally do exactly what you're trying to do with every single team. "Oh they got Bryce" oh they got a home game here or there…all you're trying to do is form some confirmation bias.
vrabel- One of the easiest SOS in NFL history
BJ-4th easiest SOS this yr
McDonald-same SOS as SF this yr (15th overall)
Cohen-8th easiest SOS this yr.
Bad take that's rooted in your distain for Kyle.

Not to mention three of our losses was with a back up QB. Denver at home with the #2 defense in the league couldn't win with a back up QB. Sure it was a Championship game but his defense gave him every opportunity to win the game.

Pretty much. If the coaching staff prior to you was dogs**t, you've got a leg up with something like COTY.
Kyle will never win one because of the expectations he's set.

Except for when Kyle has the best record. Then it goes to Stefanski.

Feels like the award in particular has a massive East coast bias. Bill Walsh won it just once. Mike Holmgren, George Seifert and Mike Shanahan won it never.

Kyle and McDonald had the hardest SOS of all the COTY candidates. That's a fact. You can cherry pick every single team on why their schedule was harder or easier to promote confirmation bias.
you can't talk about SOS and then ride Vrabel's nuts. Dude has the 7th easiest SOS in the SB era. He played absolutely no one.
it is a meaningless award, but trying to justify why Kyle wasn't deserving is a unserious debate. It just further shows how some of you are incapable of having a good faith debate.

Dude anyone with half a brain knows this whole coaching staff was great this yr. The only people trying to argue it are either trolls or part of the anti-Kyle tribe.

Simply put Kyle Shanahan was robbed of Coach of the Year. That's why I can't stand all these lame awards especially the Pro Bowl.

Glad Kyle did not get it. He in no way deserved it. We won with all those injuries not because of his coaching but because we played a weak, 4th place schedule. His game planning for both Seattle games was atrocius!
We played 3 games vs Seattle. The only game out of the 3 where we werent decimated by injuries...we won.
I don't get some of you honestly. Just overreaction after overreaction. The only time all year Seattle or Rams had even a sniff of injury bad luck they looked like totally different teams. Who btw played virtually the same schedule as us.
