Lol the Seahawks are getting to face literally the worst sb QB (by advanced metrics and otherwise) of the past 10 years.... And by a large margin over our boy handsome jimmy

Maye's regular season EPA is +169.96 leading the league. He also led the league in QBR, QB Rating and completion percentage. Had nearly a 4 to 1 TD to INT ratio.

Last weeks game statistically was going to be bad simply because of the weather and yes he was awful but came out victorious but against Houston and their #1 ranked D in yards and #2 points he did pass for 3 TD's

He's an MVP finalist in his 2nd NFL season for a reason.

He played 1 team with a winning record. Understood you play who is in front of you but an alleged MVP candidate shouldn't need to make an excuse of "I had to play good defenses, that's why my EPA is the lowest in 10 years of any sb QB"

Quick who is his top WR? Who you play matters a lot more for a QB against their defense not overall record.

If he wins it all this year it will be going through a path that has traveled through the #1, 2, 5, and now #6 ranked Defenses against yards. If we're judging on Points against it's #8,3,2 and now #1. EPA is not that relevant IMO when looking at this and it's impressive for a 23 year old QB that is having to carry an offense with really only a 32 year old diggs coming off a knee injury as it's biggest threat.

Which goes to show any coach will do as long as it's not Kyle. Totally rational.

I'm sure we'll get ours, too, soon enough, tho.

Certainly didn't hurt that both teams faced Mahomes with his starting OTs out with injury and the refs under the microscope so they actually called offensive holding.

Oh and the Bucs had the former modern day GOAT.

Ben Johnson
Mike McDonald
Mike Vrabel.

All 3 coaches whose name I brought up previously when asked who would you replace Shanahan with. All 3 got a resounding from you guys citing Kyle's greatness and how those 3 could never live up to the hype. 2 of those 3 are in the SB, 1 of those 3 will have more SB than Kyle in 2 weeks, and the last one took his team as far as Kyle did…in his ROOKIE season as coach.

So yea…you guys are running out of excuses to protect Kyle.

My God man. Just make a list of all the reasons why Shanahan is not at fault for losing those SBs. From luck, to refs, to injuries, to players screwing up, to injuries on Mahomes teams that played Eagles/Bucs vs the perfectly healthy Mahomes teams blessed by the pope himself before they played us. What haven't you used yet to excuse Kyle from any fault for those losses ?

So if MacDonald wins hes better than your binky Sean McVay. As many SBs and beat him when it counted.

Reality is you'd hire Rich Kotite. Anyone but Kyle.

...and you are running out of ways to attack him.

Maybe a new conversation, one that actually contributes to the board rather than the same tired narrative day-after-day, is in order.

IDGAF who's better between McVay and MacDonald. They both will have SB rings on their fingers. If Kyle had won one like he was supposed to this isn't even an argument. To the victor belong the spoils. Arguing who is a better SB winning coach is irrelevant. What's relevant is do you consider a guy in his second year winning a SB better than a guy not winning one in 10 years ? And IMO 1 SB win >>>>> 2 SB losses, but something tells me you would disagree.
