As well as saying because they didn't we chose the wrong guys and every loss only served to prove the point. Now that the arrow is up, those who said, "it'll take competent players first" are now being proven right.

Don't get butt hurt when we say, I told you so....you know who you are

No one wins by most yards obtained. We're 25th in points which is a fine improvement all things considered. Robbie Gould can't be our MVP as the team progresses though.

You're right no one wins by "most yards", but it shows how well the offense moves up and down the field and that's definitely something to build on. 25th in points and worse shows the lack of talent the 49ers have on offense, which limits big plays and red zone plays. I'm sure a full year with Jimmy G. and more added talent will definitely bring the ranking in points up I have no doubt.

Historically Shanny offenses have often ran into this problem and one of the reasons for that is the reliance on receivers like Garcon and Goodwin. They can rack up yards when stressing you vertically but as the field shrinks and teams can play cover 2 they tend to disappear. Look at Goodwin's 1 TD off a bomb this year.

You're right it's year 1 and this has been a great start for us especially once Jimmy got in but there is work to be done to actually break thru.

Yah true but 3 points at home with his hand picked QB, WRs and OW. That was simply terrible, he needs to do better even chip managed a couple of TDs.

Seemed frustrated and overwhelmed. Now that McVey looks like a young coach thats got his team headed in the right direction.

Comparing Shanahan's 2017 situation to Harbaugh's 2011 situation is dumb. If you were expecting ShanaLynch to turn this team around in the same speedy manner as 2011 then I can't help you. You simply don't understand football.

this man gets it ^ we got so lucky with JG and saved SO much time

No buddy.....I know real f**king football and can recognize the scheme despite the lack of talent. Xs and Os don't lie and if you don't understand what a coach is trying to do that's your f**king problem not mine.

You are the exact opposite of "Realistic"....you are judging s**t a quarter of the way through and making grand statements. That's a very novice way to digest football. There is a bigger picture and if you can't see it, then so be it.

Kudo's and roasting round 2!
