When farther than his binky Harbaugh even. Guess the Chargers are even worse at all those things.

But where it really counts in the draft, free agency, internal extension contracts, trades they are HORRIFIC. Just don't believe you can win a Super Bowl with player personnel decisions that are this bad. You have to do better on the roster and they are not it.

I've never seen them win anything. What Super Bowl trophy did they put in the case? How Roseman or McVay can win the Super Bowl. Never seen Shany/Lynch do that by a long shot.

smooth brain fans

Nobody said lynch wasn't to blame. It's on both. If you want to keep Kyle the coach, fine. We need to move on from lynch and Kyle needs to give up all say in drafting and personnel outside of the final 52.

Insufferable

Not by a long shot? They were winning in OT in the SB.

I hate this line soo much. I would bet a $1 that the Seahawks are going to make it in year two and I will bet another $1. They are going win it. And hoist the trophy in our house and while they are doing it you can stare at the NFC title game banners hanging on the building and strangely absent will be a SB win banner in the 21st century.

Remember your post in three weeks when the Hawks are hoisting a Lombardi in Levi's.

But keep hanging on. Maybe year 15.

you people don't honestly think Howie Roseman, a guy who came from the financial side of the FO (zero scouting background or football experience) was some OL and DL guru lol?

im sure Jeff Stoutland has absolutely zero say in who gets drafted on the OL lol.

the GM, scouting department and coaching staff all work together to build a roster. Yes the GM in most cases has the final say.

Deal with it.

That feels so good and comforting

Probably getting an extension

Meh. He has an extension by de-facto. Jed doesn't have the brains or austerity to hold anyone accountable. Forget Shanahan. For all you guys that think Lynch should be deprived his GM duties, good luck with that. The Yorks are all about $$$. They only rid themselves of coaches when the fanbase gets antsy and stops filling stadiums.

So I'm not banking on contract extensions on Kyle's longevity here. I'm convinced he's gonna burn out at the end of 2026 or 2027. And without a SB to his name, he's going to call it quits. And then we can finally enter the QUEST FOR SIX era

Hate it all you want…you can't b***h about horrible rosters and bad coaching when the team is going to the playoffs, NFCCs and SBs. Clearly they're doing something right. So it's either bad drafting and great coaching or great drafting and bad coaching. Can't have it both ways for a stupid ass narrative that no logical fan buys,

I don't give a s**t about Seattle and what they do….that doesn't change that Kyle is a great HC and 90% of the league would give their left nut to have him as their HC.

Just lost Charbonnet. If Rams are smart they focus all attention on Walker and make Darnold beat em.

This isn't accurate. Shanahan demanded Joe Williams. He wanted Dante Pettis. I can go on and on with number of wrs and rbs busts we were drafted because shanahan was enamored with them. And who had final say on lance?

lynch needs to go. Shanahan should not have any say on draft picks. Let gms be gms. Kyle should just coach.

Who had the final say on Lance? Don't know, neither do you. It was pretty clear, though, that they consulted widely within the team. The rumour was, though, that Shanahan favoured Mac, but I suppose that doesn't fit the preconceptions. Lance didn't work out. Bummer. It was a very difficult year, thanks to Covid.

On the subject of "busts" I don't include anyone drafted in round 3 or below as a bust. Their chances of contributing are very low. You can do the research yourself, I came up with the following:

Chance of finding a starter in each round-

Round 1 63%
Round 2 27%
Round 3 17%
Round 4 8%
Round 7 6%

The problem is most people think if the player isn't a starter he's automatically a bust.

Malik Mustapha isn't a quality starter and I don't anticipate him being one long term. Doesn't mean he is a bust, he was drafted at pick 124. Can't be expecting to continually find quality starters there.

Reality is once you get outside the top 75 it's a wing and a prayer for teams.

It's Lynch the Kyle puppet not Kyle. Injuries, bad contracts, Bosa (love him but has he really lived up to that contract) Bosa we will never find a bookend to help. How many dart throws and still not a fit. Injuries that lead the league almost every single year.

it goes both ways- many fans would be mad as hell if their team can't get over the hump and a hated rival is going to do it in two years and hoist it in your face in your house.

But glad you are content. Picking five correct numbers on the lottery card every time you play does not get you the power ball winning number to take it ll. That's us. Pick 5 numbers, impressive but not the bank.

So you don't think any changes are needed going forward?

Everything is great as it is?

(and, for all intents and purposes, Kyle is Lynch's boss. That's real life)

Oh the days when you were b***hin about Niners not signing Matt Flynn.
Shanahan is equal to Mariucci. Good at getting the team to the playoffs, but lacking Bill Walsh's fifth gear to bring home the SB trophy.
