The 4th and 1 was so bad. They weren't even running it to the long side of the field.

I knew as soon as they didn't convert it that was the two game breaking calls to start the game.

Not wrong but do you really think Brendal, Puni, and Burford were going to get that hard lol.

You guys need to f**k off.

Project all you want, but this has been the same argument since 2019. It's always something outside of Kyle's control that cost us. I agree that injuries were the biggest reason we lost out this season, but what's the excuse for 2023? LB2 and OL5 got injured and Wilks lost us the game? And 2022 was bc Purdy's elbow got shattered and we oopsied by picking Josh Johnson over Rivers. And 2021 is definitely not Kyle's fault. If Taart catches that INT we would have NEVER lost that 10 point lead to the Rams and we would have won it all. And 2020 ? psshtt, all COVID and injuries —- that's as much as Kyle's fault as this year was. 2019 ? f**k Vinovich. If he call that hold no way KC scores TWENTY ONE straight points and beats us. Everything before 2019 is gravy. Can't blame Kyle for trading for Jimmy…Kirk Cousins was taking too long and getting Beathard and Homer were not Kyle's fault.

Did I miss anything ? That's an awful lot of things that happened all these years that had NOTHING to do with Kyle Shanahan. But hey, look at all those regular season wins he piled up. They must count for something, right ?
Offseason mistakes of the past (draft failures, bad trades, and bad signings, etc.) are still haunting the 49ers.

We need another good offseason, another good draft, further cleaning up of the books.

Kyle had an amazing season. All things considered he had the best coaching job of his entire tenure with the 49ers.

Kyles, Felix the Bag of Tricks ran out tonight. He did a great job with this mash unit this season but just ran into a buzz saw of a rested team tonight.

Imagine how mad you will be if the Bears win tomorrow and your binky doesn't get a ring.

Of course then itll be all about how great Ben Johnson is and not Caleb Williams carrying the team on his back.

Is Sean Payton gonna win a SB with Jarrett Stidham since he's so amazing?

Purdy is pretty good at sneaking it. They could have gotten it either tush pushing it or regular sneak.

Both were terrible calls. They both ran to the short side of the field and away from Trent williams...

That was the game right there in the first drive.

It was 7-0 and we were driving. Instead you don't get the points and give them a super short field with two terrible calls in a row.

The margin for error was razor thin because the Seahawks are better at every spot except QB.

Terrible calls made a razor thin possible winning scenario into nearly impossible. Add in a tonges fumble. and game over.

He's the best coach in football. Who are we kidding on this. Lock him up and trust we win one eventually.

Bad ending but this was his most impressive coaching job dragging this injury riddled roster this far.

I hope he gets a jump start on some defensive coordinators replacements though just in case we lose ours.

If he gets let go he gets another job in 10 seconds.

Kyle can have some bad calls. I don't disagree but if you look around the league he's a gem. We need to draft better for one and he needs to play rookies.

I'm not saying Kyle is perfect as for sure there are things I want improved, but he's amazing overall. Jed needs to work with him and they keep at this together.

Agree - on to next season. And their cap situation is vastly improved
The coaching staff gets an A+ and the front office gets an F- I've never in my life seen so much wasted payroll. Over 110 in dead money. How many worthless contracts has this front office handed out. Javon Hargraves,Brandon Aiyuk,Leonard Floyd,Gross Matos, etc. I won't even get into their drafts.

The problem I see is we can't discern where the FO stops and the coaching staff starts in terms of roster building. Lots of opinions flying around regarding who has final say on personnel, and that makes it hard to correct this issue...because I agree, Shanny generally gets it done on game days, but whoever is controlling the roster is way out of their depth.

They are awful at player personnel. Bottom 3 in the league. At least that bad.
